PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SITE, APPLICATIONS OR SERVICES
The Site and Applications belong to Ready To Travel Pte. Ltd. (“RTT”). The Services are provided by RTT and/or its partners. By accessing or using the Site, Applications or Services, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE, APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES.
RTT, at its sole discretion, may change, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time. You should regularly check these Terms and Conditions for change. Using the Site, Applications or Services after any postings of change means you accept and agree to the changes.
For as long as you agree to these Terms and Conditions, RTT grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to enter and use the Site, and to use the Applications and Services.

Site, Application and Services

The “Site” is a website located at readytotravel.com Site includes also all associated websites linked to readytotravel.com by RTT or its affiliates.

“Applications” are applications (running on mobile devices) that RTT makes generally available from time to time. You may only use the Applications, and may not modify, reverse engineer, recompile, or decompose the Applications. RTT retains ownership of all rights in the Applications, including all copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the Applications and in the Content (other than User Content) made available through the Application. RTT retains all rights to make derivative works.

“Services” are services that RTT makes generally available through the Site or the Applications, such as lucky draws, loyalty programmes, providing you with information on airport and flight information, etc. Some of the Services may require you to furnish information about yourself, your family, and your travel arrangements in order to use the Services. Such information may include your flight details, frequent flyer membership details, passwords and related travel information (“Travel Information”). By using the Services, you consent to the use of the Travel Information, acknowledge that the Services are provided for your convenience only, and agree to maintain your own copy of such information as backup and archive.

PURPOSES OF COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

RTT is part of the SATS Group and the SATS Group privacy policy applies. This policy generally sets out RTT’s policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal data. That policy is available at readytotravel.com/PrivacyPolicy.

In order to provide the Site, Applications and Services, and to carry out any tasks related to such provision, we may collect usage, operational as well as transactional data which may include personal data. We may also use such data in an aggregate or anonymised form to improve our Site, Applications and Services. We may also use such data in order to subsequently offer other products or services to you. By using the Site, Applications or Services, you agree to give your consent to the collection, use and retention of such usage, operational and transactional data for such purposes for as long as is necessary and relevant for those purposes, and to disclose such data to third parties when RTT considers such disclosure reasonably necessary to improve and to continue to provide our Site, Applications and Services and any tasks related to this, and to further offer you other products or services.

In the event that data is disclosed to overseas third parties, any of such transferred data will be done so in a manner which is of a standard comparable to the protection under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) (“PDPA”). Any of such data will be used, disclosed and stored at a standard comparable to the protection under the PDPA. In particular, this means that the data will only be used or disclosed as far as is reasonable for the purposes enumerated above. Further, data will be protected by security arrangements, such as the following: Requiring employees to be bound by confidentiality obligations in their employment agreements; implementing robust policies and procedures (with disciplinary consequences for breaches) regarding confidentiality obligations; conducting regular training sessions for staff to impart good practices in handling personal data and strengthen awareness of threats to security of personal data; ensuring that only the appropriate amount of personal data is held, as holding excessive data will also increase the efforts required to protect personal data; restricting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis; and ensuring computer networks and systems are secure.

CONTENT AND USER CONTENT

All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively, “Content”) including the design, structure, sequence, organisation, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such Content contained in the Site or the Application, other than User Content, is owned, controlled or licensed by RTT, and is protected by trademarks, copyright, patent and all other relevant laws. RTT reserves and retains all its rights in the Content.

Content posted or generated by users of the Site, Applications and Services are “User Content”. RTT does not assert ownership of User Content.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Except as provided in these Terms and Conditions, no part of the Site and no Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, adapted, modified, transmitted or distributed in any way (including mirroring), whether for any commercial enterprise or otherwise, without RTT’s prior express written consent.

You are solely responsible for content that you post to the Site and to the Applications. You shall not post content that you did not create or content that you do not have a right to distribute, publish or disseminate.

You may not use any “deep-link”, “page scrape”, “robot”, “spider” or other automatic device, program, algorithm or other methods or processes, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the Site or any Content, or in any way alter, reproduce or circumvent or attempt to alter, reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site, the Applications or any Content, or to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, document or information not purposely made available by RTT through the Site or Applications.

You may not:

  • obtain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion or feature of the Site or any systems or network connected to the Site or to the Applications.
  • interfere or attempt to interfere with the operations and functionality of the Site and the Applications, with any transactions being conducted on the Site or through the Applications, or with any other person’s use of the Site or the Applications.
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site or any network connected to the Site or to the Applications or any Services.
  • breach the security or authentication measures on the Site or any network connected to the Site, in the Applications or for any Services.
  • reverse look-up, trace or seek to trace any information (or their sources) on any other user of or visitor to the Site, the Applications or Services, or any customer of RTT, including any account not owned by you, or exploit the Site, the Application or Services or information made available through the Site or Application or Services, in any way where the purpose (whether primary or incidental) is to reveal any information, including but not limited to personal identification or information or data, other than your own information.
  • directly or indirectly impose unreasonably or disproportionately large loads on the infrastructure of the Site, the Applications or the Services, or any systems or network connected to the Site, Applications or Services.
  • forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of the message or transmittal you send to RTT on or through the Site, Applications or Services.
  • pretend that you are, or that you represent someone else, or impersonate any other individual or entity.
  • use the Site, Applications, Content, User Content, or Services in any manner that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity that infringes the rights of RTT or others.
  • post any content that is harmful, obscene, defamatory, illegal, contrary to good order or disparaging of any racial or religious groups, incites or which may incite any person to hate or cause harm, creates or imposes any legal liability on the part of RTT, or which is otherwise injurious to third parties.

When you post User Content, you:

  • agree that your User Content which you make available to others is non-confidential.
  • represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, and do grant to RTT and all other users an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to freely sublicense) to use, copy, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, syndicate, republish, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such User Content for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise, on or in connection with the Service or the promotion thereof, and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such User Content.
  • authorise RTT to use the User Content and to make such copies as RTT considers necessary to facilitate the posting, storage and transmission of the User Content.
  • acknowledge and agree that RTT does not provide any archival or storage services to you for the User Content.
  • agree you are solely responsible to make archival copies of your User Content.
  • acknowledge that RTT may not be able to restrict use of User Content that you have posted and removed, and that the license you granted by posting remains in effect notwithstanding the removal.
  • warrant that the User Content does not contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Site, Applications or Services.

RTT may at its sole discretion deny you access and use of the Site, Applications and Services, and remove any content you post that is contrary to acceptable use, without giving any reasons or any reference to you.

REGISTRATION, ACCOUNTS, PASSWORDS, AND SECURITY

Some features of the Site, Applications and Services may require you to register and set up an account (including setting up a user ID and password) in order to use. All information you provide to register and open an account is “Registration Information”. Registration Information includes information such as user ID, password, and authentication information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and accuracy of Registration Information, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account as a result of your failing to keep your Registration Information secure and confidential. You represent that all Registration Information provided by you is accurate and up-to-date. If any of your Registration Information changes, you must immediately update it by editing your profile on the Site and Applications. RRT may, in its sole discretion, refuse to grant you a user name that impersonates someone else, is protected by trademark or other proprietary right law, or is offensive.

You may not use the account of another person without that person’s express written consent.

If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure (e.g., loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of your Registration Information or computer or mobile device used to access the Service), you must promptly change the affected Registration Information and notify RTT via the Contact Us (http://www.readytotravel.com/ContactUs) page.

If you elect to receive messages or other communications from the Site, Applications or Service directly to your mobile device, you must update your phone number to the current phone number. RTT shall not be liable for information sent to a device that is associated with your outdated mobile phone number. If you install any software or enable any service that stores information from the Site, Applications or Service on any mobile device or computer, it is your responsibility, prior to transfer of such device, to remove your information or otherwise disable access to such software or service, in order to prevent unauthorized access to your information or account.

PRIVACY POLICY

RTT’s privacy policy applies to the use of the Site, the Applications and the Services. The privacy policy is available at readytotravel.com/PrivacyPolicy and is part of these Terms and Conditions.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The Site, Applications and Services may contain links to other independent third party websites (“Linked Sites”). Linked Sites are provided solely as a convenience for users only. RTT neither controls the Linked Sites nor endorses the contents of Linked Sites. RTT makes no representations or warranties about the Linked Sites or its contents. You need to make your own independent judgement regarding your interaction with the Linked Sites. RTT is not responsible or liable for your interactions with and use of the Linked Sites.

ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS

As part of RTT’s  Services, users  may enable and receive push notifications, text messages, alerts, emails, or other types of messages regarding events, change of status, incidents, flight alerts (including arrival and departure alerts), flight boarding status, other travel related information or any matters (“Alerts and Notifications”). You have control over all Alert and Notification settings, and can opt in or out of these through your settings (with the possible exception of infrequent, important service announcements and administrative messages). Please be aware that third party messaging fees may occur for some of the Alerts and Notifications. RTT may at any time withdraw the Alerts and Notifications facility without notice.

While RTT shall endeavour to ensure you do receive timely and accurate information, RTT shall not be liable for non-delivery of any and all Alerts and Notifications, and cannot guarantee the timeliness, reliability or accuracy of any and all Alerts and Notifications. RTT shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, which you may suffer as a result of subscribing for, relying on the information contained in, receiving or not receiving these Alerts and Notifications.

LOCATION BASED SERVICES

RTT and its partners may provide features and services that rely upon device-based location information using GPS (where available) and crowd sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations. To provide such features and services, RTT and its partners must collect, use, transmit, process and maintain your location and account data including the geographical location of your device from which you access the Site, use the Applications or Services. By using location based services, you agree to such collection, use, transmittal, processing and maintenance of your location and account data.

PURCHASES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, FEE BASED SERVICES; OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Purchases, subscriptions and fee based services are subject to additional terms and conditions. Some of the goods and services available for purchase, subscription or for a fee are provided by our partners directly to you. Regardless, these Terms and Conditions continue to apply in addition to and do not detract from such terms and conditions. By making these purchases or subscriptions, or using these fee based services, you agree to be bound by the additional applicable terms and conditions as well.

All transactions for purchases from, subscriptions with, and fee based services provided by our partners are directly between you and our partners. Our partners are independent contractors. You are solely responsible for such transactions. You agree that RTT shall not have any liability for such purchases, subscriptions and use of fee based services.

In the event that you wish to request for an exchange of goods, or a refund of goods and/or services relating to any good and/or services purchased from our partners, you shall directly contact the partner from whom you purchased or subscribed the said goods and/or services. All refunds or exchanges are subject to the terms and conditions of any agreement between you and the partner. RTT bears no responsibility for any such refunds or exchanges.

If your purchases, subscriptions and use of fee based services from our partners require information about you in order to make and pay for these transactions, you authorise RTT to provide such information to our partners, from the information that you maintain with or provide to RTT.

Fees and charges for purchases, subscriptions and fee based services may change from time to time without notice. You should check the applicable fees and charges before consummating your purchases, subscriptions or use of fee based services.

In the event that you wish to request for an exchange of goods, or a refund of goods and/or services relating to any good and/or services purchased from RTT, such refunds or exchanges are subject to the RTT Products and Services Terms and Conditions which is available at readytotravel.com/ProductsTermsandConditions.

THIRD PARTY CHARGES

You are solely responsible for third party charges and fees incurred to access the Site, the Applications and Services through an internet access provider or their agents; as well as telecommunication charges you may incur for receiving Alerts and Notifications.

VIOLATIONS OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DEACTIVATION, SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF ACCESS

RTT may disclose information we have about you (including your identity) if we determine that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding your use of the Site, the Applications or the Services, or to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) RTT’s rights or property or the rights or property of users of the Site, Applications or Services. RTT may disclose information RTT deems necessary to comply with any applicable laws, regulations, legal process or governmental requests. RTT may also disclose information for fraud protection purposes, when RTT determines that applicable laws permit or requires such disclosures.

You acknowledge and agree that RTT may preserve any transmittal and communications by you through the Site, the Applications or Services, including any personal data, and may also disclose such data if required to do so by law or if RTT determines that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, enforce these Terms and Conditions, respond to claims that such data violates the rights of third parties, protect the rights and property of RTT, its employees, and users of the Site, Applications of Services, or for public safety and security.

You agree that RTT may, at its sole discretion, without prior notice, and without assigning any reason, terminate your access to the Site, Applications and Services and block your future access to the Site, Applications and Services at any time if RTT determines that you have violated these Terms and Conditions or other agreements you made which are associated with your use of the Site, Applications and Services. You agree that violation of these Terms and Conditions constitutes unlawful practice which could cause irreparable harm to RTT for which monetary damages would be inadequate, and you consent to RTT obtaining any injunctive or equitable relief as RTT deems necessary or appropriate. These injunctive remedies are in addition to any other remedies that RTT may be entitled to at law or in equity.

DISCONTINUANCE, DISRUPTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS

RTT do not guarantee that the Site, Applications and Services will operate error-free, without interruptions or disruptions. Some features and services may be discontinued at RTT’s sole discretion, without notice.

RTT uses reasonable efforts to ensure that the online features of the Site, Applications and Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, there will be occasions when the Site, Applications and Services will be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades and emergency repairs or due to failure of telecommunications links and equipment that are beyond the control of RTT. RTT will use reasonable commercial efforts to minimize such disruption where it is within the reasonable control of RTT. You agree that RTT shall not be liable to you for any unavailability, modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access the Services.

DISCLAIMERS

The site, applications and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. RTT does not promise that the site, applications and services will provide specific results or will fit your intended use and purpose. All information provided on the site, applications and services are subject to change without notice. RTT disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, absence of errors, completeness, timeliness, non-infringement, suitability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. RTT disclaims any and all liabilities for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties in connection with your use of the site, applications and services. You are fully responsible for your use of the site, applications and services. Your sole remedy against RTT is to stop using the site, applications and services.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall RTT be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue or opportunity, or loss or damage to reputation, loss or corruption of data, delays, disruptions and errors in transmissions; regardless of the type of claim or the nature of cause of action, whether in contract or in tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. RTT’s maximum liability in the aggregate shall not exceed S$10,000.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold RTT, its directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and successors in interest harmless from any demands, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs and expenses (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) made against RTT by any third party arising from or in connection with your use of the Site, Applications and Services, including the use of your account resulting from your failure to safeguard the security and confidentiality of your Registration Information.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Terms and Conditions but the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is so found to be illegal or unenforceable but would be legal or enforceable if some part of the provision were deleted, the provision in question shall apply with such modification(s) as may be necessary to make it valid.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The laws of Singapore govern all matters relating to your use of the Site, Applications and Services. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of Singapore for the resolution of any disputes and waive any objections you may have to such jurisdiction. Any claims that you have must be brought within two years of the cause of action arising. If you have any disputes regarding your use of the Site, Applications or Services, the parties shall attempt, promptly and in good faith, to resolve such disputes. If the parties are unable to resolve the disputes within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to mediation. If mediation is not successful, the parties may resort to remedies available under applicable law.
